Happy Hour is the Best Time of the Day

As we brainstormed ideas that we were passionate about writing about, otherwise known as, I was rambling and Robert was shaking up martinis, I pondered the meaning of this first post. Does it need to explain what our goals will be? We have so many ideas. We want to introduce amazing mixologists in our hometown and places we visit, we want to test out recipes that we see in magazines, we want to interview fascinating people, we want to share funny quips and debate if it is possible to watch Mad Men without a cocktail. And most importantly, we want to continue to expand our horizons and drink in all life has to offer.

So how important is this first post? Can we just start? Do you need to know more? Years from now will this be so low in the archives will it matter? You see, I’m impatient. I’m ready to start. Luckily I married a man who is patient and makes a mean Manhattan. (Yes, I know how lucky I am!) The bottom line is, we hope you feel the same way as we do and know that Happy Hour is the best time of the day… and it doesn’t always have to start at 5pm.

Great idea on a topic that has many avenues of discussion and even more reasons to tip back a tasty beverage. Look forward to the many posts and comments
