The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (if you’re in Sarasota)

If you live in Sarasota or plan to visit this Florida gem of a city, June 1-14th is a good time. Yes, it’s hot. Really hot. But it’s off season, which means restaurant reservations aren’t as necessary, room rates are cheaper, parking at the #1 beach is easier, and most importantly…. it’s Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week. Which means massive amounts of food for $32 (dinner) or $16 (lunch).

It’s the 12th year that Visit Sarasota County has put this together and it’s bigger than ever. There are more than 70 restaurants participating. Which means, even if you go out to lunch and dinner every day – you can’t possibly try them all.

We recommend hitting your favorites, but giving new spots a try. We are going to have a hard time deciding as many of our go-to spots are participating like Mattison’s, Libby’s, and Tommy Bahama. But we’ve only been to 62 Bistort once and enjoyed it, so they are likely to make our list. And I’m shocked that we’ve never been to Harry’s Continental Kitchen so that is a must.

For a complete list of the restaurants visit, http://www.savorsarasota.com/

Let us know which ones you visit!
