An Open Letter to Viva XXXII Tequila

Viva XXII provided us with a bottle of their reposado tequila, but the opinions are 110% ours.

Dear Viva XXXII Tequila,

While your branding is super cool and we love the cool reusable bag you sent with our sample Reposado bottle, that is not important. While you donate 10% of net proceeds to support animal abuse prevention, that’s lovely of you. While you pride yourself on transparency about pricing and model your bottle’s look around it, that doesn’t matter as much to us. While your website is interactive and easy to navigate, that’s handy.

But at the end of the day, we were worried about your proclamation that you were “just GREAT badass tequila”. That’s quite a statement.

Guess what? In our book, you lived up to it. The taste is so clean and delicious we will only drink it neat. And we plan to make it a staple in our house.

Give our love to Phil.

Sincerely,

the Livengoods

Viva XXXII Tequila Mascot

Viva XXXII is made in Mexico and rested for 6 months in American Oak Barrels. Its aromas are agave forward with vanilla and caramel and a hint of toasted nuts. Retails for $45.

We recommend storing your tequila in the freezer. We tried it room temperature over ice and it wasn’t nearly as tasty as when we poured it straight out of the freezer. Plus, you don’t want the ice to melt and change the divine taste of this tequila. Serve in a short glass or even a fun shot glass. But do not, and we repeat, do not shoot it. This is not your college days brand of tequila. No matter how cool the packaging looks, it is not meant to be a shot. It’s meant to slide gracefully down your throat so every nuance can be savored.

Why we think VIVA XXXII tequila is a badass brand with a cute cuddly side

Definitely! They have a store locator on their website of where to find it. It’s also available on line. It’s really that good. I promise!

I know that the goods themselves are what’s important.. but I’m still a little impressed by the packaging. 😉
