Move Over Green Beer – 9 Green Cocktails to Try!

Does anyone know why the tradition of green beer started for St. Patrick’s Day? Not much clarity when doing a google search. But does anyone really care? It’s a great excuse to celebrate and have fun, even if you’re like us and not Irish!

Personally, we are not into green beer, but that doesn’t mean we don’t wanna have some fun with green drinks. Here’s a round-up of some of our favorites.

Difford’s Alien Secretion that we wrote about for watching the Oscars.

Mint Irish Latte from one of our favorite bloggers, Giraffes Can Bake.

Urban Bourbon from W Scottsdale’s (the only W Hotel in Arizona) new Spring cocktail menu.
Made with Woodford Reserve, Gabriel Boudier Williams Pear Liqueur, Prosecco, star anise, lemon (stirred and served up).

Manjo Jito from  Mitchell’s Fish Market Restaurant and Bar, located in Edgewater, NJ made with Bacardi Tangerine Rum, Real Mango Puree, fresh mint leaves, lime juice, and club soda. Love the shamrock looking mint, don’t you?

Midori Kilt Trimmer. What’s a green cocktail, without a little Midori? It was hard to pick one, but this one made the list.

Skinny Irish Mojito’s from the amazing site,

Not a cocktail: but we couldn’t resist sharing these Shamrock Stout flavored Lollipops from LollyphileThis candy company from Austin, TX specializes in gourmet lollipops.
